‘Lucy was a dream to work with! No matter what size wedding you're planning, there are always a million things to do. A great officiant takes things off your plate before the wedding and streamlines the rest. Lucy did that in spades. She's knowledgeable, prompt, and always on top of things. Most important, she does what is best for your wedding.
And if you don't know exactly what you want for every second of the ceremony, she has a backlog of material for you to choose and use as you see fit. This is one of those little things that you don't think about up-front that is actually quite a big thing in the end.
But of course, the best prep in the world wouldn't matter if the wedding day didn't live up to the prep and expectations. Lucky for us, and all the other couples who use her, Lucy is at her best the day of the ceremony.

You added some great ideas to the ceremony, which for us wasn’t something we had previously put too much thought into. ‘Clive and I were married in the Bluebell woods in May and it was a first for Lucy as a celebrant to take a ceremony in the woods. She gave us so much help in finding a suitable venue, taking time to get to know us and what we liked and the essence of who we are. She had great suggestions and ideas so we didn't end up doing everything as well. So in the end we had a handfasting ceremony that was just perfect for us. Lucy enabled our guests to feel at ease and was leading the ceremony yet stepped back often to enable us to be the true focus of the time. ‘There are no words that can truly describe Lucy as a person and celebrant. Nothing I say here will do her justice. She was amazing from the first time we spoke to the day of our vow renewal with our family. I probably leaned on her more than most given the surprise nature of the ceremony. She was meticulous with every detail and provided me with a sense of calm every time we chatted. I would also lean on her for her opinions and ideas around some logistics of the day and she was such a resource. I would look forward to our conversations so much as I know I’d leave feeling so impressed with what she was creating for us on the big day. We worked together on the special words, prayers, stories etc. however, when it was time to put it all together I couldn’t have been more in awe of what she had created. She is truly amazing and delivered a wonderful ceremony for us on a day we’ll never forget. We are lucky to have her as a friend and are already are looking forward to renewing our vows again (probably because it will give us a chance to see and spend time with Lucy!).

She was brave enough to tell us where we were going wrong (including with our original venue!) and honest in what she believed we could achieve, whilst also introducing new ideas we would never have thought of. She was incredibly organised, and kept on top of every part of the process from beginning to end. It genuinely felt like we were the only couple she was looking after (even though we knew she was helping with many other weddings) - and we trusted her completely from a very early stage.

‘Lucy was invaluable at having an excellent choice of contacts for everything from Venue, catering, music, stylists, florists etc that saved us so much time in searching to find the right people. And all that we used did an excellent job and we couldn’t fault them.
On the day itself and couple of days leading up to the wedding Lucy was great, Lucy really helped pull those last minute pieces that you overlook together and sort out a few hiccups that arose for us that allowed us to enjoy the weekend without worrying.
The day went so smoothly and all our guests still rave about it, our only criticism is the day wasn’t long enough, but I think any married couple would say that about their wedding day!’
